Moving Devices by MAC Address

I'm in a situation where I need to move devices by MAC address. Is it possible?

My first attempt had a csv with MAC addresses and I put "macAddress" in the header. Then I ran a GAM command of what I thought it should be, but didn't work.

gam csv legette.csv gam update cros ~macAddress ou "/students/LegetteStudent/"

Any ideas?

Note that macAddress should not contain :
