I am successfully claiming ownership with GAM-ADV-XTD, however one file will halt GAM execution throwing the error:
ERROR: 503: transientError - Transient failure.
It's an Office document.
Any clue?

If you repeat the command, does it fail again?

Repeat the command with GAM 4.60.19 and report results.
