License sync

Hello all,

Am I reading this correctly in that I should be able to sync from a CSV?

Executing the command below results in error:

gam redirect stdout "C:\GAM_scripts\TeacherLicenseUpdates.txt" redirect stderr stdout csvkmd "C:\GAM_scripts\teachers.csv" keyfield TEACHER_EMAIL sync license 1010310009

Basically, I want GAM to sync against a CSV of teachers which contain the column TEACHER_EMAIL.

It would be helpful to see the error.

Here's a more typical approach:

gam redirect stdout "C:\GAM_scripts\TeacherLicenseUpdates.txt" multiprocess redirect stderr stdout csv "C:\GAM_scripts\teachers.csv" gam user "~TEACHER_EMAIL" sync license 1010310009

Hi Ross,

is there also a way to sync licenses using a Google group?  I'm currently doing this:

gam all users delete license #########

gam group enterprise_staff add license #########

Is there something like this:

gam group enterprise_staff sync license #########

There is a way to do this automatically with GCDS now.  It was introduced in version 4.7.12.  The really nice thing is that it will automatically remove licenses when you are no longer a member of the group.
