Hello - I recently deployed my app to Google App Engine. If I go to the Datastore page in my Console, in the Dashboard Summary it shows I have 75 entities. However, I've only created 5 entities since I deployed. If I click on the Entities tab, it correctly shows I have 2 entities of kind 'Post' and 3 entities of kind 'User'. This is correct, I created these. I'm just curious where the 75 entities come from?

In the Dashboard Summary page, in the dropdown where you can select Kind, only my two kinds 'Post' and 'User' are showing up. I'm not able to find any information on these other entities.

Appreciate any help, thanks.

If you have sessions turned on, they get stored in the datastore, and MR jobs also store state in the datastore I believe.

You can usually see these kinds in the list though.

Hello Jay,

In addition to the kinds used for your entities, statistics also include system kinds, such as those related to metadata. System kinds are not visible in your kinds menu.

You can view this doc about Statistics in Datastore for more information.

I hope it helps. Cheers!
