Announcing a new dev_appserver beta feature: local SSL support

Hi all,

The App Engine team is pleased to announce a new beta feature for dev_appserver: local SSL support. This will enable you to run your apps locally using both HTTP and HTTPS. This will also allow dev_appserver to observe the "secure:" field in app.yaml, more closely mimicking the GAE production environment.
