It's 03:30 and I've just migrated an AppEngine application from us-central to eu-west. Everything went just according to plan but then I learned that not all AppEngines are created equal...

On the old instance we had a daily email recipient limit of 20,010 of which we used about 300~400.
On the new instance the same limit is set to 100!

I can see no obvious way for me to raise this limit within a reasonable time frame.
- I can apply for a higher quota through a form but that request takes 2-3 business days.
- I tried calling billing support, but they could not help with the matter and promised to put me in contact with a technician, but only within 24 hours.

I would gladly pay whatever it costs to raise this limit immediately if I was only given the option. Is anyone awake who can help me with this?

Hi Christian,

Can you please clarify the following:

1- Can you confirm it is an App Engine and not a Compute Engine app? This is because AppEngine application’s region is not modifiable after creating the instance.

2- Are you talking about migrating an instance of a single project or in-between multiple projects?

For GAE, we no longer support quota increases for the Mail API, as a workaround you can use a third-party mail provider, such as SendGrid, Mailjet, or Mailgun, which have higher quotas [1].
