Requests not showing in the logs

Some Requests are not showing in the cloud console - logs, but they seem to be processing ok, just not appearing in the logs

In Stackdriver, you can view the log entries per resource basis by choosing the resource from the dropdown menu. You can also try to filter the logs based on the timestamp, log type etc. Try listing log entries using the API. Also check the retention period for your logs which is 7 days for the basic and 30 days for the premium tier.


If still cannot see the logs, could you tell what kind of requests are these?

I hade the same problem in the last 2 days.

App Engine standard application, logs of requests are not shown after repeatedly pressing the refresh button (no filter applied, no version filter applied).
I also received an Error Reporting email error, pressed the "View request" to see the log (which trigger a request_id filter) and the search provided 0 results.

After several minutes (10-20) the log finally appaers, so it seems to be a long time delay between the request itself and the relative log line

The logs seem fine now. This seems to happen out of the blue, but not very frequently at all. I had a similar problem a few months back.

All the logs not showing vary from standard get, post requests to task post requests.

I am glad that the issue is resolved. There was no ongoing issue during those days. Issues such as these most of the times tend to be project/application specific. I would recommend to post on public issue tracker if you face similar issue in the future.
