Login Issue for Google Sign In

This issue is occurring for me implementing Google Sign in for Web on App Engine:

Google Sign In is incompatible with Google Cloud Platform.  

Please escalate.

Hi Daniel,

AppEngine Standard has api's so that Sign In is easy from your host language.  for Python and Java.

Google Sign In can be used with App Engine Flex, Compute Engine and Container engine.

Thanks for this tip.  We used to use this service but decided to create our own user object to host all other social providers (e.g. facebook, twitter etc.).  Let me see if this is still compatible with what I've started though it would be better to run our own service so we're not completely dependent on this service.

Hi Daniel,

If you are doing your own authentication, you might wish to look at Firebase Authentication - it takes care of a lot of stuff that you might not want to fully implement.
