Mapping custom domain with projects hosted on app engine

Been trying to map custom domain with a project on app engine. After following all steps verifying the custom domain name and  adding the resources to  the domain name provider 'domain.com' the app engine setting page's been loading forever and i tried browsing using my custom domain and i get 'Bad request 400' like so

It can take a while for these changes to take effect. You may check the "Mapping Custom Domains" documentation page for reference. 

If the problem persists, and you think this is an issue on Cloud Platform side, you are encouraged to open an issue in the Public Issue Tracker, where confidential information, such as project numbers, can be safely communicated.
