socket.io with GAE

hi All,

I have the Web client and Node.js service running on GAE.

It uses Socket.io to sent messages from Node.js service to Web client.

The issue is, the socket.io works only by polling.

Is there any way to make it connect by WebSocket? It means keep-connection.

I thought about Firebase Cloud message, but it does not support Safari.

GAE does not support websockets. You can start this issue and wait: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/35886348 (it has been there for almost 10 years)
