It's seriously good. (I assume this reverses the decision to remove support for local docker builds from gcloud.) It's only really useful though with enabled Cloud Repository. I wish there was another easy way to sync files. Not everyone uses or likes git. I thought that I can run gcloud compute instances list locally and then gcloud copy-files to the shell, but it's not listed. Preferably there should be a simple gcloud sync-shell command or the like.

PS. Usage reporting is enabled by default. It's harmless, but I think the user should still be prompted when logging in first time.

Hi pdknsk,

These are very good points you're making. To give them the proper attention they deserve (because I do believe it would be helpful to have this "sync-shell" command), maybe opening a Feature Request on the Issue Tracker is in order?
