Hello !

One of our appengine applications went down this morning i.e around 5/Dec, 8.07 AM IST. We got continuous 500 errors. There were no billing issues, no quota issues.

We tried :

- Stopping and starting the specific version ( in some previous instances of this issue, this had worked!)
- Migrating the traffic to a new version of the app.
- Disabling and Enabling the application

Nothing seemed to work.

After ~ 20 mins, app magically started working. Clearly this was some infrastructure/network issue at Google Appengine.

Are there any recommendations on what are the remedial steps when such issues occur ?

If Google can investigate what really went wrong with out application during this time, it would help us understand this better.

If you need my app Id, will be happy to share on private email.

Appreciate any help.

Warm Regards
Prashant

Google Groups is reserved for general product discussions and not for reporting Google-end issues. It is recommended to provide full details such as your project number, log traces, and exact timestamps (with time zones) of the issue in a Public Issue Tracker report

- Note that I am only seeing one project with an App Engine application that you own, and it has its App Engine application disabled. Providing full details in an issue report is required for further investigations.
