Reduce latency in southamerica-east1

As noticed in the docs:

Using custom domains in the following regions might add noticeable latency to responses: northamerica-northeast1(Montréal), and southamerica-east1 (São Paulo), asia-south1 (Mumbai), and australia-southeast1 (Sydney) 

How we can reduce the latency? (currently tested add more than x4 latency)

What is reason for the increment? 

Is planned to solve the latency problem?

Hi Maximiliano,

Custom domains have a higher latency due to architectural reasons in the regions you mentioned. There is already a ticket in the Issue Tracker. you may star the case to receive updates on it, however there is no ETA for the fix at this time.
