ghs.googlehosted.com DNS failing?!

Hello,
I have a custom domain on App Engine pointing of course to ghs.googlehosted.com
Today a lot of requests are failing every few minutes, from what I see it looks like the ghs.googlehosted.com DNS is not working correctly (the TTL on that is 5m).

Pointing directly to xx.appspot.com doesn't seem to present issues.

The app is in europe-west and most clients are in Italy

Anyone else?

Here too. Our app is on us-central1 and we have problems with .it domain only, we have .software domains that are working correctly.

The same thing happening here.... All projects in all custom domains are down.

I already opened a support case to google, but no news so far...

We have the same exact problem, changing it to direct URL for the service is a good temporary fix. Let's hope they fix this soon!

I also had a "kind of the same" problem yesterday. All requests to the App Engine appspot were failing with DNS errors. I tried with a different internet connection and found it is working fine. May be related.

Hello,

I believe you might have been affected by an issue that increased the amount of failed requests to custom domains. As of today this should be resolved and thus no further connectivity issues are to be expected.

In case you are still affected please reach out to our support team so that your scenario can be investigated in detail.
