Google Course Builder Deployment Error

I am following the directions on this page https://edu.google.com/openonline/course-builder/docs/1.11/set-up-course-builder/deploy-your-app.html.

I am working on a mac. I tried to access my site and got a 404 error.  In the terminal it says

 Failed at the phan...@1.9.8 install script 'node install.js'.

npm ERR! This is most likely a problem with the phantomjs package,

npm ERR! not with npm itself.

npm ERR! Tell the author that this fails on your system:

npm ERR!     node install.js

npm ERR! You can get their info via:

npm ERR!     npm owner ls phantomjs

npm ERR! There is likely additional logging output above.

npm ERR! Please include the following file with any support request:

npm ERR!     /Users/randee/coursebuilder_resources_1_11_001/runtime/node/npm-debug.log

I have attached the log they are referring to. Can anyone provide some assistance?

This error is usually resolved by installing/updating to the latest Node.js, npm and related libraries. You can follow some of the solutions discussed on this GitHub or this StackOverflow thread.
