Salutations Nerou,

You are in the right place!

To answer your credit questions: Short answer yes! Long answer:

You have a two options, the preferred would be:

1) Start the free trial and when the time is up upgrade then activate the $500 credit.

or

2) Apply the credit when you start your trial. You have to make sure you upgrade before the end of the trial time.

To make sure it works you need to 'activate' the coupon when you create the project. Then when you are ready to use the credit you can redeem it. You have 3 months after you activate it before it needs to be used. To do this:

-Please visit https://cloud.google.com/developers/starterpack/

-Enter your information and Promo code

Then start your free trial by going to: https://cloud.google.com/free-trial/

- Follow those directions. Make sure you use the same email address and information.

Once this is done, to see the credit applied, please follow these instructions

1. Go to cloud.google.com

2. Click on ‘Log In’ and use the email address associated to your project. If you are already logged in click on ‘Go to my Console’

3. Click on ‘Billing’ under the gear in the top right corner.

4. Select the billing account for the project you wish to update.

5. Click on 'Credits' you should see a 500 credit there.

Please keep an eye on this credit. when it runs out, it will start charging the credit card on file.

You can only use one promo code per billing account.

There will be no charges associated with use during your free trial. It will use the credit applied to the account. After the trial it will use the promo code credit you apply before doing any charges to the credit card. If you don't upgrade before the end of your trial it will pause everything after the 60 days.

I would like to note I am not an expert on billing matters. We have a some who can be reached through this form

Hi Nerou, a fellow dev here. Did you end up using both of the coupons? If you still have one extra, would you feel generous enough to share it with me? I cannot pay you but I am happy to reciprocate by helping in any creative way in the future.
