Hi,

I have my data in a oracle database, i need to write cloud endpoints which get the  data from the oracle database and  return the result.

Please let me know how to do this.

Thanks

You can use the Managed VM's.  Here you could install oracle.  Then you can use the cloud end points api.  In the api, connect to the oracle database, and return the data.

Sonal,

I have an Oracle machine running in on-premise Data centre and i want to host a website in GCP.  There is connectivity btw on-prem and Google VPC using VPN service.

Can we consider Google App engine to connect to Oracle instance? You have asked this question way back in 2015. Were you able to achieve this?

Thanks,
Vivek Kumar

You can setup an advanced network configuration in your App Engine Flexible app.yaml configuration file to access your Oracle database within your network.

- Note that Google Groups is not for technical support, and if you require further support with connecting your App Engine app to your Oracle database it is recommended to post your detailed questions to Stack Exchange using the supported Cloud tags.
