The App Engine SDK is designed only for the App Engine environment. You'll need to install the api client library instead: https://developers.google.com/api-client-library/php/

Hi Mohamed!

Do you mean you want to crop and/or resize images and then save them to a Google Cloud Storage bucket? If so, the regular PHP runtime (version 5.2.1 or above) will work fine to crop and resize images. In this case, you would create a regular PHP project on your GCE instance as normal, and you could use the Google APIs Client Library for PHP (as mentioned by Mars Lan) to connect to Google Cloud Storage to upload and download the image files you are using, as shown in this documentation.

Cheers!

Hi Mohamed!

You can find a step by step instruction on how to install the Google PHP SDK on centos 6.5 here, in a related gce-discussion Google Groups thread.

Cheers!
