how to "wget"

I am quite beginner.

I want to download a file from ftp site of NCBI. how can I do that?

I typed like this

but it does not start.

Using wget to download through ftp, you may need a username and password. You may verify through the website above, and if that is the case, you may use [--ftp-user=user, --ftp-password=password] flags with the command. For further information about the syntax, you may check this manual, or this third party guide.


That said, since this forum is meant for general questions about Google App Engine, and if you need further help with this or other similar Linux commands, I suggest posting the question at this Stackexchange site where you have a larger community of experts that you can share ideas with and get support from.

So this is my problem I can not access google cloud because I can not remember the access email, I need to access via remote to be able to buy the paid plan...

Hi,

When you go to the Cloud Console sign-in page, you have the “Forgot email?” link where you can use the phone number associated with that email account. Then you get an SMS in that phone, allowing you to use the password and login to the Cloud Console.
