The App Engine app associated with this project has been deleted.

Hi Folks,

I have been experiencing an annoying warning message on the google cloud platform for a number of weeks, and I am unable to access Google App Engine functionality for a single project.

On the dashboard I see the warning in red letters at the top "The App Engine app associated with this project has been deleted."

And when I attempt to access https://console.cloud.google.com/appengine I get the error "This operation is not allowed on a deleted App Engine project".\

I would really appreciate help with this, I use this particular project on a daily basis and having an ugly warning at the top is distracting, and worse, I am unable to create app engine instances within this project.

Has anyone else come across this problem before?

Is there a Google employee monitoring this forum who can help with this bug/limitation?

Hey Shaun,

Could you email me the project ID at my email directly? I'll take a look. It sounds like it's simply been deleted. Were you the only administrator / owner of the project?

If anybody else has this problem, please feel free to follow the updates in the Public Issue Tracker issue for this. You can email me your project/app ID directly if you don't see it resolved before that thread closes as Resolved.
