Google Cloud Debugger (Beta) is now available on GAE for Java based applications.

Say goodbye to littering your code with logging statements to locate and diagnose issues in production. With the Debugger agent installed by default on GAE capturing local variables and a call stack is as easy as clicking on a line of source code.

Try it out today and send feedback to cdbg-f...@google.com.

Any plans about something similar for Python & Go?

As much as I would love to see a Go equivalent, I don't think it will be too soon, given how hard it is to build a debugger for Go, even just locally. But, well done and thank you for the continuous improvement to the platform.

Hi Alexander and Qian,

Both Python and Go are on our roadmap. Python will likely be available earlier than Go.

Stay tuned as we will be looking for early access participants to help us test things out.

Dear Keith,
Plz can you help me route my quetion to the proper person in charge in GDC tools team?

1. G Cloud debugger -> When is the availability fr PHP GAE(any dates), why is PHP users always pushed to the last? so no PHP in roadmap?
2. G Push to deploy ->Same here,  when is the Jenkins deployment support for PHP GAE?
3. G Source code tools ->  Why is that we cannot currently edit or quick fix a source code file, if it's a Github connected repository?
I guess instant fix should be depoyable from the GDC even if our codes are hosted from GITHUB.
https://cloud.google.com/tools/repo/source-tools

Plz clarify all my points. We are using GAE for the past couple of years and we feel we are left down::((

Thanks,
Ss

As PHP is not a GA product (yet), we're working hard to stabilizing the product first. That said, these features are definitely what we'd like to add to the PHP runtime in the future. Please file feature requests here to help us gauge the demand: https://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/list?q=Language=PHP

Thanks for filing the request in GAE Tracker. It's the correct place.
