There is no publicly available API by which you can submit an image to be searched via Google Image Search.

To make a long story short, I run a site where users upload profile images. I've noticed a lot of them are taking photos from celebrities and uploading them. 

What I'd love to be able to do is, after the user hits the upload button, is have code that will check the Google image search results for those images in the same way the results would display if I had uploaded an image in Google Images (the function to the right of the search box where you can hit the camera and upload an image and Google will check other sites to see if they have the image on it as well). 

Does anyone think this can be done? Cause if so, I'd like to get rid of a person who is doing this. I know some pictures may show up if they're being used on other similar sites, but I'll tinker with the settings myself based on the information that's returned - namely certain URLs and IPs etc. 

If anyone has an idea, please let me know.
