Is google image search poosible on image URL?

Hi,
           Google image search API working on based on image name/keyword but i want to search images based on image URL.
Is it possible?

I'm afraid I don't understand why you would want to search for an image if you already have the URL unless you're just looking for images on a particular domain or in a folder, etc. Even so, I believe that you can include inurl:www.myurl.com in your query parameter and at least get close to what you're looking for.

I think he asked for a service like Google Images, where he could use the image to get its details.
Like using an image url of a picture (ex. Kanye West) and getting web results from the Image API similar to Google Images...
Actually I want such.
