Google Feed api not returning all tags..

Hi, 

I am using google feed api for loading xml feed. I am unable to retrieve <xyz> tag which is under <author> tag in my xml. Instead google returns xml response with additional <email> tag under <author> tag, which is not in my original xml file. Can anyone please help or explain..?

For a number of reasons, it's impossible to tell you exactly what's going on. If I had to guess, though, I would say that the API is choking because the xyz tag is not standard RSS or Atom, and you haven't defined it in a custom schema.
