Google Search API javascript error not fetching results

The Google code playground (http://code.google.com/apis/ajax/playground/#tabbed_display_mode) has a demo on "tabbed_display_mode" under Search --> General tab.
This demo does not fetch any results and throws javascript error :
Script Error 5007 : default+en.I.js

Error: Unable to delete property 'html': object is null or undefined

The same search api integration in my application was working fine few days back; and has stopped working since couple of days.
Is any upgrade required to en.I.js file?
