Feed API change target attribute

Hi everybody:

I am using the feed API to load some RSS news in my site using an iframe. Everything works as planned but I have one problem: every time I click over any title link (class="gf-title" target="_self") it opens itself inside the iframe and i want to open it in a new tab (target="_blank").

http://www.axiscom.com.mx/desarrollos/clientes/mommentum/es/commodities.php (news feed at the bottom of the page)

I have been trying different methods using javascript or jquery but nothing works. is there any way to fix this?

It seems to be working as desired (i.e., opening links in a new tab) for me. Is there a particular browser/operating system that we should be looking at?
