Ads are not showing properly in my app

Google admob SDK in my app and integrated native ads but ads are not displayed properly in my app and video ads are not displayed at all. What could be the reason for this? Has the SDK not been integrated properly?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK Support team.

To enable video Ads, include the ft_ctype parameter in an extras object and pass it to the ad request. This may restrict which ads are available and result in no fill. Kindly note that the ft_ctype parameter only works in Test Mode.

Could you kindly provide the below information via reply to author option for further investigation:

• app ID
• ad unit ID
• Mobile Ads SDK Version

I’ve reviewed your Ad Manager account and found that your Android app (The National - UAE, World News) is correctly associated with the given ad unit. However, your iOS app is not currently associated with the mentioned ad unit. Please configure an ad unit for your iOS app and test again.

Thanks for responding so here is a quick description of our issue:

I have a flutter application in which I am integrating the google mobile ads(google_mobile_ads : 6.0.0).

Here are the respective iOS and android App ids : 

Android : ca-app-pub-*************~*************

iOS : ca-app-pub-*************~*************

We are using the following 

ad unit id: *************

So now on android ad loads just fine ( 300 * 250) and iOS we never got an ad and we get following error :

Ad load failed: LoadAdError(code: 1, domain: com.google.admob, message: Request Error: No ad to show., responseInfo: ResponseInfo(responseId: null, mediationAdapterClassName: null, adapterResponses: [], loadedAdapterResponseInfo: AdapterResponseInfo(adapterClassName: , latencyMillis: 0, description: , adUnitMapping: {}, adError: null, adSourceName: , adSourceId: , adSourceInstanceName: , adSourceInstanceId: )), responseExtras: {})

If we use test ad unit ids(ca-app-pub-*************) provided by google those id work and ad loads on android & iOS both.

We have been struggling with issue in a sense to diagnose whether it is sdk integration issue or some configuration issue on GAM side.

Upon reviewing your AdManager account, it was observed that the ad unit ID (/21xxxxxxxx27/TN/magazine/ios_test) is not presently linked with the iOS application. I have executed our sample project utilizing the aforementioned app ID(ca-app-pub-602xxxxxx92~245xxxxxx7) and ad unit ID(/218xxxxx27/TN/magazine/ios_test), and was able to successfully load advertisements. Could you please confirm whether the reported issue is reproducible within our sample project?

Thanks for the update,  so I have asked my google ad manager team and they created a new id under iOS app

This is the ad unit id : /21886051327/TN/magazine/ios_test

But for this as-well I am getting the same error code 1.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your email. I downloaded the sample app and used the respective Ad Unit ID and App ID for iOS.

I implemented AdSize.mediumRectangle and successfully received the ad shown in the attachment.

However, I have a question and would appreciate your guidance. We have listed our app in Ad Manager (see attached), and the test_ios ad unit ID was specifically added inside the iOS app.

Could you please help us identify where the configuration might be missing?

I’m copying my GAM team members on this email so they can review your advice and try the solution.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your guidance. First, I ran the sample app using  my app ID(ios) and ad unit ID, and the ad displayed successfully.

Next, I incorporated a few elements from the sample app code into my own code, and to my surprise, ads showed correctly for both ad units (test_ios and TN_Inapp_MPU1_300x250).

I really appreciate your help—ads are now loading properly.

I will continue with more detailed testing and will reach out if I encounter any issues.
