Will AdMob mediation work if ads from Admob are suspended?

Hello,

There has been a similar question right here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/google-admob-ads-sdk/sz0QPwz0Btw , but since it did not really get answered I would like to try it again.

So the ads in my app have been disabled, because it got removed from Google Play due to a missing privacy policy. The app has been reinstated already. However, the AdMob-Team has not answered my appeal yet (which I can totally understant due to the size of the Google advertising system). In order to protect myself from loss of income in the future I would like to add multiple ad sources into my app besides AdMob itself.

Now the question is: if AdMob has disabled delivery of advertisements due to policy violations, but the account itself is not banned, will AdMob mediation with other ad sources still work? (as described here: https://developers.google.com/admob/android/mediation/)
