Interstitial Ads changing audio session

I am using 

GADMobileAds.sharedInstance().audioVideoManager.audioSessionIsApplicationManaged = true

 to manage the AudioSession myself, but the category is being changed to soloAmbient every time an ad is displayed.

Thank you for bringing this question to our attention. In looking over our documents, I found this section that talks specifically about the result that you are talking about. Based on that, the fact that you are getting the SoloAmbient is expected behavior, but that you can also change as needed.
