Galaxy Watch 3

Hi Golf Pad,

I've just switched from using a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier to a Galaxy Watch 3. On the Frontier as soon as I looked at the watch I'd have the Golf Pad app open but with the new Watch 3 most of the time I go to look at my watch and it's showing the time and I have to open Golf Pad to see the details I'm after. I've compared the settings on both watches and they seem the same. Have you any idea what it might be? I've tried reinstalling the app to no avail.

On your watch - go to settings>Display>Show Last App and change it to within 1 hour.

It's almost certainly the settings on your watch, not the app. There is a setting somewhere which says how long to show the last app for, the default is about 30 seconds so unless you look at your watch every 29 secs or less it goes back to the watch.  Find this setting and increase to an hour or two and that will solve the issue.

Great suggestion, I've programed my watch to show last app for 1 hour as well.

I've also programed my "Double tap home key" as the Golf Pad GPS. 

Settings > Advanced > Double press the home key > Golf Pad
