A Question about Updates

Hi List.

 

I've been on version 5.7 for quite some time now and have decided that its time to make the jump to 6.5, but I do have one question.

 

If I install the latest version, will this install over 5.7 and thereby remove it as an option, or will I get a second Goldwave version on my PC, version 6.5?

 

I worry that if 5.7 is over written and I can't get to grips with the new version I'll be unable to fallback to what I'm comfortable with.

 

I have checked and for some reason or other I no longer appear to have my 5.7 installation available.

 

Thanks to anyone who can put my mind at ease.

I am still using gold wave 5.7

Is there any reason at all to update? I find 5.7 works great. earlier updates were worse, I found, so I always went back to 5.7.

It will accomplish the same quicker. It uses the processor more efficiently, but if time is not a concern of yours then no, no real reason to update.
