Do the log/slog library slower than zap logger?

I was trying to use log/slog for my new project, but frustrated following few reviews, including benchmarks done in this blog: https://henesgokdag.medium.com/log-slog-library-and-golang-logger-comparision-9e2c3de3d515
Should i stick with the std or other packages such as zap?

I am pretty certain you can improve log/slog using a custom handler if you need extreme performance.
