I have read the brief description of the book’s content as linked below.
I am on the fence for buying the book since I am not from Betalbatim.
Please transcribe what you think is an interesting part of the book that will push me to buying it.
Regards.

I am on a similar situation here. An image of the book index would be great, or at least the email contact of the writer where one can ask a question.
My father's ancestral village is obviously Betalbatim, hence my special interest on the book, purely for its past aspect.
So it would be good to know a bit more of its contents.
The description is too rosy, flowery... can almost smell the perfume.
But I am after the real content of the book.
Cheers,

Promoting a book can be a tough job. Readers (specially in Goa) tend to wake up late to the potential of even an interesting or useful title.  Which is why we have so many chasing out-of-print titles too late in the day.
This task is not made any easier by comments, which may or may not convert into actual sales. I understand that getting books across internationally can be both tough and costly....
It's also often assumed that a title with a big label behind it is necessarily a fine book, but others are not. See Literature in a Time of Conglomeration  https://plus.thebulwark.com/p/literature-in-a-time-of-conglomeration
These are my personal views after dabbling in publishing since 2007. FN
