WILL the Minister for Archives be pleased to state:
(a) the list of historic data has the Government sought from Portugal in the last 5 years along with correspondence and file notings,
(b) whether the Directorate of Archives and Archaeology has staff who are Qualified Portuguese language speaking with the competence and skills required to carry out a real-life survey based on data of the temples destroyed in the religious persecution period, if so, furnish the names and designation and qualifications of the staff
(c) whether the Government has any records of designs/plans/outlays of the religious and other important historic structure which were destroyed by Portuguese, if so, copies of said records;
(d) furnish detailed breakup of the estimated cost of this exercise; and
(e) whether the Government, since 2012, has done any research, study, or excavation of pre- Portuguese era artefacts, artwork and structures related to Goa and Goan history, located in Goa or outside Goa, especially religious in nature, if so, furnish detail
