I also need to work in Java-land.  Is there a Java equivalent of go-cloud?

Go CDK is specifically for Go, we are not Java experts so can't really answer the question.
That said, check out:

Hello,

We're only responsible for go-cloud, so we can't speak for Java in any official capacity. That said, perhaps something like https://spring.io/projects/spring-cloud would be relevant?

Thanks guys.  I don't see anything with the same design philosophy as go-cloud; many are similar in intent, but not quite as clean, nor have the scope, as what go-cloud has.  I might just fire up a project, java-cloud, that is the Java/Dagger equivalent of go-cloud's go/wire design philosophy.
