Upgrading from 20.3.0 to 20.5.0

I found this instruction https://docs.gocd.org/20.5.0/installation/upgrade_to_gocd_20.5.0.html.  Do I need to upgrade to 20.4.0 then do the DB migration or can I do the DB migration on my existing 20.3.0 then upgrade to 20.5.0?  The doc makes it sound like it's possible but I'm just looking for guidance.  Please advise.

Hi Jo,

It should be possible to upgrade from 20.3.0 to 20.5.0 directly without stepping through 20.4.0 but I recommend thoroughly reading the release notes for each version to make sure you understand what has changed at each stage.

I know there were significant changes in some versions last year but I am not familiar enough with the details to know whether any of them could potentially affect the upgrade path.
