Generic oidc auth provider

Hi there,

a few auth plugins exist for custom oauth2 (google, github, gitlab, okta), are there any plans for a generic oidc plugin or is there any community work in progress around this?

These days many oidc providers support service discovery via the .well-known/openid-configuration format (for example, keycloak). A plugin that can consume this format might make a nice addition and catch a few auth providers in one go.

Hello!

Sounds like a good plan. I'm not aware of any such plugin in progress. I'm also curious if anyone is working on something like this.

Hey Aravind,

I've done some searching and I can't find anything out there. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if anyone chimes in, but in the meantime I might spend some time getting a plugin up and running.

I'll post back here if I get anything usable going.
