At THIS moment, I don't think Hagens is going to be a contributor.

- his shot is just that, a regular shot at the goalie

- he can't pick corners

- he can't receive passes and shoot at the same time ... he has fanned a few times

Would you sit him in favour of someone like Reichel?

=====

Another beef is Elias Lindholm. He's OK when he wins faceoffs, but when you are only 33.3% in Game 3, that doesn't fly.

My summary of G3 is: Couldn't score/finish in P1. Then they all gripped sticks too hard & couldn't string 2 passes for P2 & P3, nevermind score.

I'm not opposed to sitting 44 to give him a view of a game from the press box. It's probably good for him. Problem is, what replacement will make an impact? They've had the whole season to crack the lineup.

28's been a frustration all season.

Why not sit him. We need a spare and he has not been able to provide one. Not that I expect anything at all from Reichel.

We are being out-coached and mostly out-played.

Is it too late to say that I had a slip up with my prediction of 5 points for Hagens. I meant to say Porter Martone instead of Hagens....

Yeah, that it. My girlfriend, Morgan Fairchild, can verify that.

I would sit Lohrei. He just isn’t making good decisions when clearing the puck.

As for Hagens, I agree…who do you replace him with?

Wish granted ... Harris will be in for Lohrei.

Reichel will be in for Hagens. People are saying that Reichel is fast, but can't score or forecheck.

Interesting comparison.

Both are fast.
Hagens can forecheck.
Hagens has not scored yet, but is it correct to say that he has a higher likelihood to score than Reichel?

Sturm said Reichel can forecheck.

And Reichel’s first goal was a great forecheck.

I hope what I’m about to say ages very, very poorly, but I really hate both of those changes.  Hate them.  Lohrei brings creativity from the blueline that we need, and Harris does absolutely nothing for me.  I’d rather we gave Brunet his postseason debut over Harris.

As for Hagens, benching him in game 4 makes the fact that we’re burning a rookie contract year for him to get a little NHL experience ahead of next season all the more difficult to stomach.

Now…c’mon, Reichel and Harris, please show me to be an idiot!!!

This is getting ugly. Way too many give aways.

Hopefully Sweeney's solution is not to bring in even more physical guys so that we are even harder to play against next year.
