I think Vegas' problems are secondary scoring and below average play from Aidan Hill. 

I'm not sure how Torts helps there. I blame their GM for how he constructed their roster.

Butch"s firing is a wakeup call to the players.

Still wondering why Butch started his 4th line in game 7 finals at the garden versus the blues. The blues started  the game with their fourth line and Butched matched. Why not start your first line?
