A few thoughts:
The 3 spots will be determined by the 3 lowest net scores.
The 12 members competing for the final 3 spots should play in the early groups in case of a tie.
Ties will be broken by sudden death using handicap.
Anyone have anything else.

There were a couple of questions regarding rules yesterday. Since next week is the playoffs, everyone should review the rules that the league has established. Gene sent them out earlier this year. A couple of highlights..

If your tee shot goes OB or if you think it may be, you should hit a provisional ball. If you find the original ball and it is in bounds you may play it. Otherwise play the provisional with a 1-stroke penalty.
( there is currently no rule that says go to the point of OB, drop, and take a 2 stroke penalty).

If you hit your ball into a penalty area (red or yellow stakes), you may play the ball as it lies within the penalty area without taking a stroke. However, if you move the ball from the penalty area, you must take a 1 stroke penalty.

As everyone knows by now, the greens are not in the best of condition. That being said, my opinion is that everyone must play the ball as it lies on the green regardless of the condition. There should be no adjusting the ball on the green to improve the lie. (We are all playing on the same greens and unfortunate breaks are a part of golf).

All other rules should be applied. If you have any questions regarding rules, please make them heard before we tee off next week.

How are the playoff pairings composed?

I think he meant, are those in the playoff allowed to play with whomever out of the groups or is it to be the pairings based upon the division/rounds.  Because my dad is listed on all of them.  So on the pairings, it would be You, Hugh and me and then one of the wild card winners ? Or someone from another group to make a foursome. Unless we are all going out as threesomes.  It’s either 4 threesomes or 3 foursomes.

Mark, not sure if I’m seeing the same as you. Gene sent the Period division winners along with the Wildcard winners, is what I see. I m asking because I did not see 4some pairings for the 12 competitors trying to get the 3 Finals Spots. Are we picking our foursomes, blind draw, assigning them?
