To Our Valued League Members,

We want to acknowledge the challenges we've faced over the past two seasons in providing the playing conditions you deserve. Despite our best efforts and frequent updates, the ongoing impact of severe weather has continued to hinder our progress.

In light of these conditions, and in a gesture of good faith, we will be moving to winter rates for the remainder of the season. We understand that some of you may choose to play elsewhere during this time. While we’re not encouraging that decision, we completely respect it. If any of your members do plan to play elsewhere, please notify us so we can make the appropriate adjustments to the tee sheet.

We are continuing to work hard to restore the course to the standards you’ve come to expect. However, with the upcoming heat, we know the road ahead will be challenging.

We deeply appreciate your patience, loyalty, and understanding during this time. Please know that we remain committed to bringing Black Hawk back to the level of quality you deserve.

I placed calls to Fox Run and Beaver Valley to see if they have any openings.  Billy talked to Rolling acres.  I will let him fill u in on availability and times he received

I’m not sure if this is up for a vote or if the officers are taking opinions but I’m against moving to another course. I am in favor of moving the final outing if that’s an option. 

I say this in hopes of Blackhawk getting their shit straight by next year on the greens. 

I’d also be curious to see what the greens are like at all of the other local courses.

Wayne, I hear you, but I will let you know that Rolling Acres is in way better shape than Blackhawk. Myself and others have played it this year and can attest to that. As for Blackhawk getting their shit squared away, they plan on digging up #s 3 & 4 next year. I believe it would be a league vote if we were to move, I thought we voted to move from Acres to Blackhawk. But I’m usually wrong, but thankfully someone will know.

I have a good relationship with Braver Valley. I am in no way saying we should move because I don't think we are at that point yet, but since Beaver Valley doesn't have much for after golf, I am sure we could host something at the restaurant each week.
