Hey! It's EmmaChaya and Sylva, who played with you guys a bit this summer. Our school team, the Wellesley Whiptails, is hosting a fun tournament and we wanted to invite you! It’s that time of the year! It’s time for … 

🥏🌤️MILLYFEST🌤️🥏

Millyfest is an annual Whiptail tradition (our 24th year!) where we celebrate the memory of former Whiptail Molly (Milly) Thompson ‘04 who died by suicide in the summer of 2001. This event raises money that is donated to the Samaritans of Boston, a social services organization in Boston, Massachusetts that provides life-saving suicide prevention services. We would love your participation in this honored tradition.

We are so excited to see you on Sunday, April 12th at 9:30 am for a day of fundraising and frisbee fun!! Games will start at 10:30am. As usual, Millyfest this year will consist of a round-robin style tournament where you will play with and against fellow whiptails and whiptail alums. This will be followed by our annual potluck (sign up sheet to come!) where we will eat, share (nickname) stories, raffle off items and bid on dates with Whiptails to raise money for the Samaritans of Boston in honor of former Whiptail, Milly. 

Please fill out the attached form by March 22nd if you are interested in attending. Admission to this tournament will be a $10 donation (or anything you have the capacity to pay). All proceeds go to the Samaritans of Boston.

Just to clarify and make sure everyone knows, this is a hat tournament right? So we would sign up individually? And is it Mixed or Gx only?

A very worthy cause of course, and especially now (for those of you who don’t know there was a suicide on campus last week as well).

Yes, it is a mixed hat tournament. You sign up for yourself and everyone is invited! Also, you are welcome to come sideline even if you are not playing
