Dear all,
We warmly invite you to the next session of the
GlobalGoals Webinar Series
in which we are presenting the key findings of the
SDG Impact Assessment
(published by Cambridge University Press in March 2022). In our upcoming session taking place as an MS Teams webinar on
January 26th, we reveal some of the key findings of Chapter 6 of the assessment on
Planetary Integrity.
Our distinguished panelists,
Louis Kotzé and
Rakhyun Kim, the lead authors of this chapter, will explore
to what extent and under what conditions the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have advanced planetary ecological integrity, that is, strengthened policies towards
the preservation of global commons at various levels of governance. Their presentation will be followed by a reflection from
Michelle Lim, our discussant for this session, before the audience will be given the floor to ask questions.
The findings of the assessment and the insights of the webinar will feed into the work of the
Taskforce on the SDGs of the Earth System Governance Project
where your contribution is more than welcome!
