Five funded PhD studentships in climate change social science
Applications are warmly invited for five funded PhD studentships associated with the CAST Centre.
The ESRC funded CAST (Centre for Climate Change Transformations) is a UK based centre of excellence that recently embarked upon on a second phase of work (2024-9) which focuses on the relationship between climate change and especially ‘sticky’ behaviours such
as flying.
Three of the studentships will be located at the University of East Anglia in Norwich and two at the University of Bath.
All five students will be fully integrated into and be encouraged to make research connections with partners in the CAST centre as well as the 25 year old Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, which is headquartered at the University of East Anglia.
Informal inquiries are warmly welcomed and should be directed to the relevant supervisor, noting any relevant eligibility requirements.
