You may find interest in a new paper:  

For a summary, you can read Land is back on the agenda a blog post that also introduces the broader special feature.

The paper is the introduction to a special issue on Land and Sustainable Food Transformations, co-authored with Sarah Sippel, Sylvia Kay, Coline Perrin, and Kirsteen Shields.

The paper turns the 'land question' inward on the Global North, where property relations often appear as naturalized and settled. In contrast, we draw from the contributions of the special issue to show how food system actors are challenging the meaning of property as a first step to realize their goals of alternative production.
