Join Host Ronnie Lipschutz and his guests, Mireya Gomez-Contreras and Anna Rasmussen, codirectors of Esperanza Community Farms. Esperanza Farms is a subsidized CSA program that represents a culturally relevant access-point to local organic produce, especially for immigrants and our Latinx/Indigenous neighbors in the Pajaro Valley.  It provides sustainably farmed, affordable produce for traditionally excluded people of limited income, grown by former farmworkers newly trained in organic practices.  You can find out more about Esperanza Community Farms at: https://esperanzacommunityfarms.org/

That’s Sunday, September 20th, 5-6 PM, on KSQD, 90.7 FM on your dial and KSQD.org.

The show will be rebroadcast at 6 AM on Tuesday, September 22th.

You can hear previous broadcasts of Sustainability Now! at KSQD.org and on Pocket Casts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.
