It's World Wildlife Day (3 March) and we are commemorating it with a new policy brief.
Also, UNEA has adopted two resolutions of particular interest to this group:
1) setting up an intergovernmental negotiating committee for a treaty on plastics
2) setting up the process to establish a science-policy body on chemicals and wastes
Thanks,
Pam

Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and the Convention on Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) are the primary treaties tasked with protection of endangered species.
The latest
Still Only One Earth policy brief explores how, moving forward, species conservation efforts should expand to include lesser known species that serve important ecosystem services.
