Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are very excited to announce the launch of a new PhD in Environmental Studies at NYU's Graduate School of Arts & Science.  

Students in this new PhD program will experience an integrative and transdisciplinary approach to environmental scholarship, training to become the next generation of experts and leaders called on to tackle society's most difficult and urgent environmental challenges.

The program will be housed within the Department of Environmental Studies at NYU Arts & Science. Applications will launch in the fall of 2024, and the first cohort of students will begin in the fall of 2025.
