·         Work on Ecologically Unequal Exchange - Andy Jorgensen’s work at BC would be interesting where he tests various theoretical propositions against ecological footprint indicators.

·         Morin, Jean-Frédéric, Amandine Orsini, and Sikina Jinnah. (2020) "Chapter 10 Trade and the Environment" in Global Environmental Politics: Understanding the Governance of the Earth. Oxford University Press: Oxford, UK. Largely written like a lit review so the ref list might be useful. Attached.

Kathy McAfee

·         Ron, IMO (not humble), carbon markets - trade in carbon credits for ecosystem services, mainly carbon sequestration, is the most controversial and important 'free trade and environment' issue today. The FCCC ministerials have all but collapsed over it (Paris Agreement Article 6) for the past two years.

·         The Contradictory Logic of Global Ecosystem Services Markets  - Kathleen McAfee Attached Addresses the (flawed) theoretical basis of the economic-liberal paradigm on which such trading is based and discusses the implications for development and conservation worldwide.
