The Third Annual Carbon Dioxide Removal Law & Policy Conference will convene on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the Washington College of Law at American University, in a hybrid format. The theme for this year's conference is "From Proposals to Projects: The Emerging Carbon Removal Landscape in the US." The theme reflects the evolution of the CDR sector in the past few years from the largely notional, to a potentially very major player in helping the global community to confront climate change. The panels reflect this theme, focusing on critical foundational issues for the sector's growth over the course of the next few decades.
